Di’elle Maharaj is a third year producer, studying AFDA Durban. She has always been interested in the behind the scenes of filmmaking, and what it takes to create a world that people can escape into. Di’elle says that producing allows her to create these worlds with the help of a crew. She initially came to  AFDA to study Live Performance, but then found she was drawn to producing. She is passionate about the films that she produces and a hard worker. She has worked on multiple films at a time, and has enjoyed the experience as it has taught her new skills. She has a production company called Escape Reality Productions, which has a Youtube and Instagram page where her previous films are.
