Writer/ Director

Mohamed Dalair Khalil

Mohamed Dalair Khalil is currently a Third Year Film student at AFDA majoring in Film Writing and Directing. He is currently living in Durban, South Africa, where he was born and raised. Growing up he enjoyed many movies; but was attracted to those that had substantial meaning to them especially.

Dalair enjoys underrated films that aren’t normally the topic of conversation in what films would be entertaining to watch. Some of the directors that he aspires to are the Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan and Guillermo Del Toro. The genres of thriller, drama and fantasy are what interest me the most.

Some of the previous films that he has worked on either directing and/or Writing for are:

Stockholm (2018)

•Why Can’t You See Me? (2019)

•Out of The Blue (2019)

•The Mirror(2020)

Aside from film, he enjoys all aspects of art, from poetry to painting to music. He had produced my own music as a hobby, as well as novel writing and drawing. Some of his more active hobbies are football and working out.
